New Phone Apps Support Faithful Parenting

According to an article in The Christian Post, children’s curriculum publisher David C. Cook has now released the first Sunday School apps especially for parents. These apps are designed to supplement the take-home pages and other devices children’s ministries use to help kids apply what they’ve learned. The two apps are free and are designed around two Cook programs—Tru and Rio—but they can still be used by any parent interested in daily support of their children’s spiritual growth.  Mike Kennedy, senior director of marketing for David C. Cook, says the apps help churchgoing families in any situation while keeping up with our tech-saavy culture. “I don’t think we have the luxury of simply waiting to see what happens or how technology affects us…incorporating Sunday school lessons throughout the week is critical to growth and transformation.” The app is currently available for iPhone and iPod Touch and will soon be available for the Droid.
