The Washington Post reported that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has reconsidered and will not be speaking at a revival event in March organized by televangelist Rod Parsley. Tebow had been scheduled to speak at the event, but a spokesperson for Tebow said his speaker’s bureau “did not fully investigate the event” before booking it. Parsley, a prosperity televangelist, is calling his event a “Contending for the Faith” weekend which will feature pastor Kenneth Copeland and a “partners only” anointing service, according to Parsley’s website. A spokesperson for Parsley said they have asked Tebow to reconsider.
