Become a News Scout on churchleaders.com

We are seeking News Scouts who are excited about sharing current and engaging stories with the churchleaders.com community. If you love sifting through the news and have a sharp eye for stories that impact church leaders, this could be a great ministry for you.

Here’s How it Works

As a Scout, you will scan through the daily news and push fresh stories and leads to the editors of churchleaders.com.You can submit a news story in two formats: 1) Simply send us the link to a relevant news story or news lead, 2) Write a short, concise (200-400 words) article that develops a current story from a church leader’s perspective. Be sure that direct quotes are clearly marked and the story maintains an upbeat tone. Photos and video may be included with these submissions.

Examples of appropriate stories might include a local church feeding the hungry or leaving their comfort zone to serve others, a missions trip where an entire village was reached for Christ, a sermon series that successfully approached a difficult subject and resulted in a marked attendance increase, or a promotion for an upcoming conference that keeps church leaders in the know. churchleaders.com will also accept reporting on church-related political matters, but keep in mind that we prefer balanced and shrewd articles rather than combative or negative ones.
