6. Walk with people.
Have you ever been in a big-box store, wandering around cluelessly? When no one is available to help you, it’s frustrating.
That’s how guests feel when we leave them to find their way through unfamiliar buildings. Even if you give quick directions, they’ll probably still be uneasy trying to navigate.
Always walk with guests to children’s classrooms. Then take parents to adult worship or a Bible study. This not only makes it easy for visitors. It also gives you the opportunity to do step 7.
