2. Thanks for Helping Me Grow Plant

Idea taken from Society19.com

Supplies needed:

Mason jar or small flower pot
Paint and paintbrush (optional)
Small houseplant such as a succulent
Dirt suitable for the houseplant
Piece of cardstock or cardboard
Sharpie
Piece of ribbon or raffia

Instructions:

If you are using a mason jar and you’d like to paint it, do that first and allow the paint enough time to dry (per the instructions on the paint bottle).

Fill your mason jar or flower pot nearly all the way full with dirt.

Gently place the plant you’ve chosen on top of the dirt and cover the roots with more dirt. Gently press the dirt around the plant.

Cut out a gift-tag shape using the cardstock or cardboard (see picture). Write “Thanks for helping me grow” on the tag (you can also use a pre-made tag). Punch a hole at the top of the tag.

String the ribbon or raffia through the hole in the gift tag and wrap around the jar or flower pot to secure the tag to the vessel.
