If she was in the habit of going to church we should too!
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the day approaching.
I have never resented making church a not for discussion practice with my children. That included children’s church and youth group! I also think it’s wise to get your kids serving as early as possible. My children still serve in the local church today and I think it’s because attending and serving was something Julie and I modeled to our children. Galatians 6:7 is a scripture that says “Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. I’ve heard this scripture quoted negatively but I think it’s one of the most positive scripture for those who work with kids. I have spent most of my life helping other people’s kids and guest who have reaped the benefits? My two girls. God has sent so many into their lives to help them.
