20 Ways to Spend Time With Your Students Over the Summer

The summer time is prime real estate for opportunities to build relationships with your students. Sometimes because of planning and camps and mission trips, you forget to just plan some relational time with your students.

Here are a few ideas on some simple fun you can have with your kids.

1. Take a trip to your local park for sports and games.

2. Go rafting, tubing, or paddle boarding.

3. Host a Board Game Night.

4. Host a mystery dinner theater.

5. Play this awesome Zombie Apocalypse game.

6. Do a Bible Study at your home.

7. Throw a pool party.

8. Create an obstacle course.

9. Plan a mani/pedi party for the girls.

10. Attend summer camp.

11. Take them to a free summer movie in the morning.

12. Buy a bunch of fireworks and enjoy!

13. Feed the homeless.

14. Pull off a VBS for your church or another one in the area.

15. Host a hot dog eating contest.

16. Throw a back to school party.
