40,000 Attendees Worship at Passion 2016 Conference

Passion 2016 Conference in Atlanta was one of joy, service and worship for the 40,000 attendees. Thousands and thousands of young adults filled the stadiums bringing towels and socks to donate to homeless shelters, which are two items desperately needed at local shelters.

They also donated “money for the construction of a hospital to serve at-risk mothers and children in war-torn Syria. Once completed, the hospital will offer the first neonatal intensive care unit in opposition-controlled Syria,” wrote Christianity Today.

For the first time, the conference was live-streamed at Atlanta’s Philips Arena and Infinite Energy Center and in the Toyota Center in Houston. Participants were able to view two speakers live at their venue and enjoy live worship music and watch the other speakers via live-stream.

The fantastic line-up of speakers and worship leaders included Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Crowder, Hillsong United, Rend Collective, John Piper, Ravi Zacharias and Christine Caine.

Louie Giglio opened the conference with a powerful message, “The invitation for everyone is to come and see what God has done. We will see that Jesus is alive. He is risen.”
