The senator had strong words of warning for the American church, which he said “is asleep.” What’s more, “no one bears more responsibility” for our values being stripped away “than the pastors in America” who are not preaching the gospel. “If we are going to defeat the woke assault, then all of us need to wake up.”
American values have been under a “relentless” attack, said Cruz. “The slumbering church needs to wake up, the patriots across America who love our nation, who reject the stinking pile of lies the Left is selling.”
Throughout Cruz’s speech, Faith and Freedom Coalition audience members responded by clapping, laughing, and saying, “Come on!” Cruz concluded, “Revival is coming! God bless America, revival is coming!”
