The second letter implicates SBC EC president and CEO Dr. Ronnie Floyd and SBC EC member Mike Stone in suppressing investigations into sexual abuse within the denomination. Stone called the letter “false” and “outrageous.” Floyd said that he takes the concerns the letter raises seriously, but does “not have the same recollection of these occurrences as stated.”
