Others Defend Pastor Merritt

Faith writer for AL.com, Dana Hall McCain, posted, “I’m so grateful for the example of @drjamesmerritt and his precious wife, Teresa. They are people who love the Lord and his Gospel, and love their family with godly faithfulness and wisdom. Privileged to know them.”

Newly appointed Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement, Daniel Darling, followed up McCain’s post by saying, “Absolutely. I’ve had @drjamesmerritt walk me thru some of the hardest situations with gospel clarity.”
