“Rogue pastors slash and burn and harass and attack and no one tells them to stop and we’re all supposedly cooperating together in ‘mission.’ What mission? Attacking fellow Christians for participating in worship of Jesus isn’t gospel mission. ‘This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves.’ Galatians 2:4,” Cross continued. “There’s another message being proclaimed here that binds people according to gender in extra biblical ways then attacks. I’m saying there’s a precedent for those who run around and spy in worship gatherings and churches to see if everything is going exactly as they think it should. Paul addressed it according to circumcision, but being upset that a woman reads Scripture and carries a candle?”
“Actually, a blessing of splinter groups from the SBC like CBN/Founders is those who affirm behavior like this can identify together. ‘Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.’ Titus 3:10. We’re at the last part,” Cross concluded.
