Brian Houston’s Daughter Unleashes on the Media in Instagram Video

The people that attend Hillsong Church don’t deserve this, Toggs explained. “When you throw Hillsong under a bus, what you need to understand is that you’re throwing everyday Australian people under the bus.”

“I’m getting tired,” Toggs emotionally concluded. “I know that there are forces that will try and wear us down, but our trust and our hope and our faith is in something that is so much greater than us. It’s in the Lord Jesus, and I know He will get the glory in all of this. But please leave our teenagers—leave our kids—out of it. Out of this mess.”

Another Statement by Toggs

Toggs submitted another statement that news.com.au posted, which appears to have now been deleted. Toggs posted the statement as an image to her Instagram page.

The statement read:

To keep bowing down to the media is essentially to allow them to continue to own the narrative around the world, above the truth. It is the most unwise thing you can do for your mind and soul. Defending truth is Biblical. I have watch the media willingly disregard any fairness for the sake of click-bait and to suit whatever profit they make off their agendas. It’s disgusting. It’s horrible. It’s immoral. It’s low. It’s defaming. It’s destroying good peoples lives one cheap headline at a time. And, it’s heartbreaking to watch people believe the lies. So, for anyone reading this—if I can be so bold to implore you…if you wanna fill your mind and soul with junk, then go ahead and buy into whatever [poop emoji] they spoon feed you. But if you want truth to frame your heart and soul and mind…let the Bible be your source of wisdom and truth and guidance. Open your eyes. Turn off the news. Turn to the Word of God.
