Although Vischer and his team “think they’re in the middle” of the faith spectrum, Cooper says, they’re actually “left” of center. As proof, he plays clips of past “Holy Post” episodes that he says downplay important issues such as abortion and sexual morality. Summing up the left’s philosophy as “cosmic justice without holy living,” Cooper counters, “You’re never gonna outgrow personal piety and personal holiness.” As a result, he warns viewers, “Be aware of who you’re listening to.”
To the “Holy Post,” Cooper says, “Don’t be belittling this deconstruction movement, whatever you want to call it.”
