On Facebook, people are suggesting possible uses for the sign. Some recommend that Pastor Knight use it as a logo for Knight’s Urban Honey, his family’s side gig. (“Blue light special on honey,” someone suggests, referring to Kmart’s popular marketing tactic.) Another person thinks the sign would look great in the church’s “K”IDS room, especially if it still lights up. (The sign is cracked, so that’s doubtful.)
Using the K sign as a flamingo-type fundraiser, where people must pay to get it removed from their lawn, is another popular idea. But the transport part could prove difficult. “The two men responsible for the prank—who asked not to be identified—told [our reporter] it was not an easy task,” says a TV news anchor at the end of a story about Knight’s new K. “We know you’re watching,” she tells the culprits. “Get it out of there by June.”
