‘I Feel a Lot of Joy’—Danica McKellar of ‘The Wonder Years’ Shares About Her New Relationship With Jesus

McKellar now believes people should be careful not to put their faith in church leaders or base their idea of Christianity on churches that aren’t healthy or maybe even not a good fit. She also does not believe that people have to be Christians to have Christian values, pure hearts or a relationship with God.

In the caption, McKellar said:

In my life, starting in childhood, I had been made aware of all the hypocrisy in the various religions of Christianity, it being used for evil, power & control throughout history, and that had definitely biased me. But that’s just people, that doesn’t represent God’s actual love for us. And I can tell you I’m experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before, and it feels miraculous. And it all started one evening when I was struggling with the idea of forgiveness and DM’d my good friend @candacecbure about a passage from the Bible she had read on her instastories, and then she sent me a Bible, and invited me to church…🥰 I am wishing all of you the love & freedom I feel in my heart on this journey, and a beautiful Sunday!! ❤️🙏❤️

Danica McKellar concluded her video saying she hopes her viewers “know that you are loved and know that that love, that eternal, omnipresent love is there for you whenever you want it. Whenever you’re ready, it’s there.”

Fellow actress Jen Lilley commented on McKellar’s video, saying, “Welcome home sweet girl!!!” Bure commented as well: “God’s love is bigger than any human love and when He sweeps you up in understanding how powerful it is, because He is, it’s undeniable. Praying for you on your journey and relationship with Jesus my sweet friend 🙌. Ephesians 2:8-9 💜.”
