“By percent, we have more women (about 60%) in the School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadership than any other accredited evangelical graduate school in the country,” said Stetzer, who hosted the graduates at his home for dinner when they were on campus for class during the summer. This most recent graduating class had three cohorts and there are four cohorts making their way through the program now. “We expect to begin a new cohort each summer,” Stetzer said, adding, “We are also beginning a cohort of Propel women in our new DMin program which will launch in the fall of 2023.”
Various ministry leaders including Trevin Wax, Rev. Dr. Glenn Packiam, and Beth Moore congratulated Caine on Twitter. Dr. Joy Qualls, Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Biola University, did so as well and voiced her appreciation for the program in a comment to Stetzer. “Women who lead and walk in the call of God will change generations,” she said. “I believe this, I will preach it every [chance] I get, I am a product of a female church planter who walked it out. I am the 4th generation raising the 5th.”
