Harvest Christian Fellowship senior pastor Greg Laurie, whose church has a campus in Orange County, tweeted, “There has been a shooting in a Church in Laguna Woods, which is in Orange County. Such an act of pure evil! Let’s pray for the recovery of those who were wounded and for the families who lost loved ones today. So Tragic! May God comfort them.”

While the motive behind the attack is still under investigation and gunman has been charged with one felony count of murder and five felony accounts of attempted murder.
This shooting happened just one day after a mass shooting occurred at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York on Saturday, March 15, 2022, where a gunman killed 10 people and injured three others. The shooting has been characterized as a racially motivated attack.
