“The Conservative Baptist Network joins the entire Southern Baptist family in grieving as we read the Sex Abuse Task Force’s report,” the statement said. “While we disagree with certain aspects of the report, we supported the investigation, are grateful for its successful completion, and call for all Southern Baptists to reflect prayerfully, and, where called for, repent.”
“We further call for all Southern Baptists to join us in prayerfully studying the recommendations and their implications,” the statement concluded.
CBN did not make clear which aspects of the report they disagreed with.
