Greg Locke Removes Church’s Tax Exempt Status; Calls Steven Furtick, Kenneth Copeland, T.D. Jakes, Perry Stone False Prophets

“Some of y’all need some new preaching heroes on Facebook,” Locke said. If you love the Bible, you need to stop “eating up on that Steven Furtick preaching.” Locke compared Furtick’s sermons to sticking a unicorn’s horn in you ear, so that you feel good about yourself. Locke also called out Furtick’s expensive shoes, arguing that “looking good” is more important to Furtick than preaching the truth of the Bible.

Locke said Furtick is trying to be a “white T.D. Jakes” and preaches out-of-context sermons while talking down about the Trinity.

Jakes is “corrupt to the core,” Locke said. “No wonder Oprah loves him so much.”

“I’m gonna be a spectator at the Great White Throne Judgment,” Locke went on to say, “when God looks at Kenneth Copeland and says depart from me…you’re going into hell for all of eternity, because of your lying, sorry, lowdown, good-for-nothing sack of false prophecy.”

Doubling down on his celebrity pastor comment, Locke told pastors with expensive clothes to “get over yourself.”

Near the end of his sermon, Locke joked that he should run for president of the United States in 2024, to which the congregants roared with applause. Locke then referenced his belief that President Joe Biden stole the election in 2020.

The Church’s Deliverance Ministry Continues to Grow

Locke told ChurchLeaders that hundreds of people drive and fly from all over the country to attend his deliverance services every Sunday night.

“It’s unbelievable,” Locke said. He then shared that the opposition toward his preaching is worth enduring, because “we’re getting verifiable proof from doctors that cancer is being healed, that people’s lives are being turned around and people are stopping smoking after 30 years. Depression is just being lifted from people. It’s just—it’s truly remarkable to watch.”
