Goldberg’s comments seem to be reinforced by a clip filmed outside last week’s NRA convention in Houston. A reporter from the parody site Good Liars interviewed a man wearing a Confederate flag T-shirt who wouldn’t say whether he was pro- or anti-slavery.
On “The View,” Goldberg also proposed a ban on AR-15 assault weapons. “I don’t care, NRA. You got to give that gun up.” She described it as “not a hunting gun” and “not a gun where you are going to go out and shoot your dinner.” Instead, she said, “This gun is meant to kill people. That’s what it’s for. And you can’t have it anymore.”
