Church’s Livestream Catches Thieves Stealing Over $1 Million Worth of Jewelry From Pastor and His Wife

The pastor said that at the time the media also used his criminal history to “destroy my character” instead of focusing on the good he was trying to do. Whitehead served five years in prison for identity theft and grand larceny and was released in 2013. He was ordained as a minister in 2016. 

In a video posted Monday, the pastor shared that he wants the perpetrators prosecuted at the “highest level” and that he is offering $50,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the suspects. 

Whitehead defended his decision to wear expensive jewelry, saying, “It’s not about me being flashy. It’s about me purchasing what I want to purchase…If I worked hard for it, I can purchase what I want to purchase.”
