Tebow concludes, “By far in my life, the greatest joys, the greatest fulfillment didn’t come from sports. It came from saying yes, when you say yes, to living the purpose that God has for you. It will always, always, always be worth it because Jesus makes it possible.”
As an example, Tebow points to the demon-possessed man in Mark 5. After Jesus extends mercy and tells the man his mission, the man begins proclaiming what Jesus has done for him (verse 20). Tebow writes, “I don’t know if everyone accepted Jesus, but I believe [the man] had a big impact” despite his previous pain. “I believe his life counted. I believe he probably impacted his family, friends, community because [the Bible] says everyone, everyone was amazed.”
