Like most stars, Candace Cameron Bure deals with her share of controversy, such as when she posted a suggestive picture of herself with her husband, Valeri Bure, celebrating their marriage.

More recently, Bure took to Instagram to address former “Dance Moms” star JoJo Siwa after Siwa called Bure the “rudest celebrity” in a TikTok video. Bure explained she was “shocked” when she saw the video and immediately reached out to Siwa to find out what had happened.
It turned out that when Siwa was 11 years old, Bure had refused to take a picture with her at a red carpet event. Bure said learning that she had hurt Siwa made her “feel crummy” and she apologized to her. Bure also told her Instagram viewers, “If you’ve ever personally run into me and I was not the person you were hoping for or expecting, I just want to say, I’m sorry.”
