“Ultimately at the end of the day, I love what one of the parents said who was upset: ‘We know your heart and we want to extend grace in this circumstance,’” McLamb shared with CBN News. “That’s what the body of Christ does. We extend grace.”
McLamb now acknowledges that school administration should have given the students an opportunity to contact their parents before getting baptized.

In the past, the school has always asked for permission from parents before baptizing students and has even had a baptism class beforehand.
“We just didn’t get the full parental permission and there were a handful that were upset,” McLamb acknowledged.
