For church on Sunday, Bryant wore a shirt featuring the face of Stacey Abrams, Georgia’s Democratic candidate for governor. Two youth who led prayers during Sunday’s service wore T-shirts with voting-themed messages, including “Black Voters Still Matter.”
Bryant recently went viral for slamming Herschel Walker, Georgia’s Republican candidate for U.S. Senate. Early on Election Day, he tweeted: “Dear Lord today, make my enemies amazed, let the wind blow on the side of the underestimated, let favor fall on those who have been held down & stop every interruption to this election.”
