Most ministry work is performed outside the spotlight, several people note. “For years I longed to be a Christian speaker, & I did get to speak at a couple retreats,” writes Ruth Leamy. “Now I have found joy and contentment as a church office manager, an Adult study leader, & a Lay Eucharistic Minister.”
Women’s ministry director Sara Schroader notes: “Not everyone will have a huge following, or write a successful book. But serving God with one person at a time has great value in God’s economy.”
