‘Ministry Is Who You Are’—Sadie Robertson Huff Urges Christians Not To Compartmentalize Their Faith

“When things start to get personal with Jesus, I think repentance is a natural response,” says Huff, pointing to Simon’s confession in Luke 5:8. And that merger of our personal and faith lives leads to change and an abundance of spiritual fruit (or, for Peter, fish). In addition, we impact other people and lead them to follow Jesus too.

Huff closes by asking listeners to consider three questions:

  1. What is your boat? (where you spend everyday moments)
  2. What are your fish? (your job, hobbies, and gifts)
  3. What is your net? (things or areas you need to surrender to God)

She prays that today’s generation of young people encounters “no limits” and “no distractions” in the mission to bring revival to the land.

The Passion Conference, founded in 1997 by Louie and Shelley Giglio, encourages 18- to 25-year-olds to worship and live for Jesus. “For the Fame of Jesus” was the theme for Passion 2023.
