Hoops.” Her husband, Daniel Heflin, is associate athletic director of development for OSU Athletics. “He’s by my side in everything I do and encourages me to chase my dreams,” says Hoyt. “It takes a special person to be married to a coach at this level, but he invests in my players and is incredibly supportive. Family is very important to us, and we view the team and our players as our own.”
In the 2018 podcast, Hoyt said, “I feel such a strong sense of purpose every day that I wake up to just get to go and live the way that I think Jesus wants me to live, and that he would live.”
