While TCAPP was birthed out of Peters’ Spokane congregation, Covenant Church, Peters moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2020 to plant Patriot Church, a network of congregations founded on the belief that America “is under attack by demonic principalities and powers. They are destroying the very cultural and religious fabric that makes the USA so special. Their evil agenda is cloaked in phrases such as, ‘end racism,’ ‘redistribute wealth to the disadvantaged,’ and ‘open borders.’ Their outright Marxist propaganda bombards us daily.”
The church’s flagship congregation meets in a barn-style building, the entire roof of which is painted to resemble an American flag.
“Some of the evangelical church—I think it is soft,” Peters told “Meet the Press Reports” in 2021. “I think they’re cowardly, and they’re trying to ride the fence between the left and the right. And so that’s kind of where the divide is.”

TCAPP will hold its next service across the street from the Spokane Planned Parenthood clinic on March 17.
