Pastor Who Survived Plane Crash Speaks Publicly for First Time Since Accident That Claimed 4 Lives

Each of the men who perished in the crash is memorialized on Harvest Church’s website.

Of Tucker, the site reads, “As a young man Steve became a follower of Jesus Christ and that influenced all aspects of his personal and business relationships…His main focuses in ministry have been in Biblical studies, international and home missions, church planting, and disciple making.”

Patterson is remembered as a “beloved cowboy, golfer, Mississippi State cowbell-ringing, cattle-loving, plane-flying, mint Oreo-eating, black cowboy hat-wearing, God-fearing, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend” whose “faith in Jesus was strengthened and enriched through the men and ministry of Downline and Harvest Church.”

Springer is remembered as “a free spirit with a warrior heart” who loved to travel, “had a passion for Jesus, loved others deeply, and shared his faith with boldness.”

A full report regarding the plane crash will be delivered by the NTSB in 12-24 months, according to an NTSB media relations specialist.
