Cathe Laurie said she was moved by the film’s depiction of how God reached a generation—and how he continues to spark revival among young people today. She expressed a desire to keep building her life and marriage on the foundation of God and his Word, aiming to “build a legacy that I will not look back on and regret.”
The Lauries had two sons, one of whom died in an accident in 2008. Through that tragic experience, Greg wrote, the couple was reminded how “God is faithful to comfort his people.”
Looking back over the past five decades, Cathe noted the importance of repentance and daily surrender in a Christ-honoring marriage. She described “Jesus Revolution” as “a real love story,” calling it “a love story with Jesus” as well as “a love story between Greg and myself, and what God did in our lives.”
