Organizers titled the event: “Solidarity with Queens at the Library (and laugh at “anti-woke” Kirk Cameron)!” And encouraged people to show up and celebrate the drag queens “who help make Seattle rich with love and joy, show solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, and show the Seattle Public Library that this kind of bigotry will not be tolerated by Seattleites!”
“Bring your signs, music, and joy to laugh this human out of town,” they said.
In an Instagram post on Thursday (May 25), Cameron told his social media followers in Seattle, “We hope you come out and enjoy some free family fun. Make sure to invite your neighbors, church groups, and school friends too! I can’t wait to see you there!”
