‘Jesus Revolution’ Is Coming to Netflix; ‘Let’s All Be Praying,’ Says Pastor Greg Laurie

Laurie, who has continued to encourage people to use the film for evangelism since it became available online, is the founder of Harvest Crusades, which began in 1990 and which nearly 10 million people have attended either in person or online. A reported 7,000 people trusted in Jesus at the 2023 Harvest Crusade that took place last week in Anaheim, California. 

People on Twitter celebrated the news that “Jesus Revolution” would be coming to Netflix. “One of the BEST movies I have seen in a while!” said one. “Excited for this to come to #Netflix!”

“Join us in praying for those who will see it for the first time that God will touch their lives!” tweeted Matt Dickerson, who was part of the team that worked on the movie.

Author and pastor Dr. Derwin Gray tweeted his appreciation for the film, saying, “Thank you @greglaurie, I just watched #JesusRevolution. The movie was beautiful. I too joined the revolution when I met Jesus on August 2, 1997. My life has never been the same. I’ve been transformed.”
