One community member, whose granddaughter was friends with the deceased, said, “Who knows what kind of dreams this young lady had. That’s sad.”
“Detectives do believe that speed was likely a factor in this crash,” said police spokesperson Lt. James Curry. Curry further asked anyone who may have been in the area around 9 p.m. on Tuesday to call the Fairfax County Police Department’s non-emergency line with any information.
