“It is a hard story to see, but the power is in the gospel, and the power is in the redemption,” Korie Robertson added. “The power is in when Jesus enters your life. Everything can change, and you aren’t without hope.”
“The Blind” opens in select theaters Thursday, and ambassadors are spreading the word, hoping to extend the film’s reach.
In a premiere-day Facebook post, “Miss Kay” Robertson wrote: “…even through the painful days of the past, I would do it a thousand times over to get to the Phil and Kay we are today. Today we are covered by the Grace of God and that has made all the difference.”
She added, “Everything didn’t change immediately for us when we turned our lives over to Christ. It was still a process and will always be, but God has graciously changed us over the years and there is no one on earth that I would rather sit on the front porch with.”
