Storm said that when she boarded the flight, she had a desire to sing her song, something the 36-year-old singer had previously done many times before. However, due to the loud music being played over the intercom system, she decided to take her seat near the rear of the plane instead.
She got out her pillow, put her head down, and started to fall asleep. It was then that an announcement came over the intercom informing everyone that the plane needed to return to the gate due a minor maintenance issue.

“I knew instantly that was God. Now, because I’ve sung in so many different public places, I’ve never felt nervous around anyone. But this was God and I knew it,” Storm said. “So, you know, we have revelations and then we have moments where we feel the presence of God, but to know he came and saw me right there and he literally was like, ‘I’m gonna make this happen’—I was nervous. I felt like I wanted to poop my pants.”
Due to her frequent air travel, Storm knew that returning to the gate would give her the chance to fulfill her desire to sing her song on the plane.
Storm said that she began to pray that God would speak through her to share his message. “So as soon as we got back to the gate, it was time for me to follow through with my mission. And so I did,” Storm shared. She concluded by telling her followers that her singing wasn’t about showing off or pushing her beliefs on anyone. Rather, it was about giving God the glory for what he has done in her life.
