“Please don’t tell us nothing can be done, hogwash (nicer word),” she added. “Has the SBC/EC contacted the legal team for Samantha Killary to say that the Amicus was filed in error by some parties (not approved) and is there anything we can do to correct this action or make amends to help the case? Anyone?! Don’t depend on legal telling you it’s too late?”

Thigpen said that rescinding the amicus brief “may seem impossible but that’s what faith is right?” She further expressed to the EC members that Christians are “to do the RIGHT things before God and make restitution when we don’t.”
“A C T I O N. Not meetings or study groups,” Thigpen demanded. “Righteous action. Every member call her attorney and find out. Show [Killary] repentance and care at the least!”
Thigpen concluded by calling the EC’s lack of action “disgusting.”
The secretive action of filing the amicus brief against SamanthaHillary vs the open and visible action of doing absolutely nothing present day to amend the damage is quite the nothingness we are accustomed to.

Thigpen told ChurchLeaders that the EC “already knows what is right, there needn’t be a study group. There was no study group when the decision was made.”
“In terms of priorities, we have no patience or grace for it any longer,” she added. “Steps of action was the only acceptable outcome, no action means they stand by the decision.”
