Angel Studios Plans To Release Several Projects in 2024
Watch for these films by Angel Studios, set to release in 2024. The studio “continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and offer diverse content that appeals to all audiences.”
‘Cabrini’
In March 2024, Angel Studios will release “Cabrini,” a film depicting the life of an Italian immigrant, Francesca Cabrini, who came to America in 1889. According to the studio’s Facebook page, “She is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children…Armed with a fearless spirit and a compassionate heart, Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society’s most vulnerable.”
‘The Chosen’ Season 4
Expected to be “the most dramatic season yet,” Season 4 of “The Chosen” continues the story of the life of Jesus, as told by those who encountered him. Director Dallas Jenkins said, “We’re getting closer and closer to Jerusalem, to what we know is coming. Jesus is getting increasingly frustrated, and yes, sad. Not because he’s getting closer to death, but because of the reasons he must die.”
‘Bonhoeffer’
This film is a biographical depiction of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, wrestling with “ethics and courage.” Bonhoeffer is described as “a pacifist faced with a moral dilemma” and finds out what it looks like to stand up for what’s right.
‘Tuttle Twins’ Season 3
For the younger generation, the Tuttle Twins return for a third season. This animated series is full of humor and deeper life lessons as the characters learn about privacy and emergency preparedness.
‘The Wingfeather Saga’ Season 2
The Igibys continue their run from the Fangs with “suspense and adventure all throughout.” This animated series is based on the novels by Andrew Peterson and follows three children—Janner, Tink, and Leeli—on their journey to discover the “secret of the Jewels of the Shining Isle.”
‘Young DAVID’
Based on the story of David in the Bible (and leading up to the full-length animated feature ‘DAVID,’ releasing in 2025), “Young DAVID” is a series of five episodes telling the story of the young shepherd boy who was braver than most men.
