One community member told WFSB, “I’m very sad. I mean, this is someone you’re supposed to be able to trust and lean on. And they’re supposed to bolster up the community.”

“I think it’s very disheartening,” the neighbor went on to say. “But people are people. Human beings are human beings and we can expect those sorts of things anywhere, I guess.”
“It’s very disappointing for this town,” said another. “I’ve lived here a long time and it’s hard to believe. It’s hard to believe, to tell you the truth.”
Miller has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell, use of drug paraphernalia, illegal operation of a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Miller has been released on a $10,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on Feb. 23.
