Tim Tebow Urges Congress Members To Give Children Suffering Sexual Abuse the ‘Biblical Definition of Hope’

Several people, including Cooper and other Congress members, emphasized the bipartisan nature of the effort to rescue exploited children. Tebow said that Operation Renewed Hope is a “great example of so many people from all over the world putting the mission first, putting the kids first.”

The “hope” in the title of Operation Renewed Hope is not a superficial one, he noted. “I’m not just talking about the way we use hope in our society of, I’m flipping a coin, I hope it lands on heads, or I’m wishing upon a star,” said Tebow. “No, I love using the biblical definition of hope: to look forward with confidence, expectation and anticipation.”

He asked, “How many of these boys and girls do not get to look forward with any form of confidence, expectation or anticipation because they believe their tomorrow is going to be just as bad as today?”

When asked how the little girl Tebow quoted at the beginning is currently doing, he responded, “She’s doing incredible…she is not just surviving, but she is thriving.” 

Regarding the most important message he would like to share with people across the country, Tebow said, “Every single person has a chance to make an impact. Every single one of us can make a difference.”
