Representatives for Jakes denied the claims, calling them “unequivocally false and baseless.”

“If anything, I feel closer to the Lord than I ever have,” Jakes told his congregation in December 2023. Reiterating that he has done nothing wrong, Jakes said, “The worst that could happen, if everything was true, all I got to do is repent sincerely, from my heart. There’s enough power in the blood to cover all kinds of sin. I don’t care what it is, the blood would fix it.”

“But I ain’t got to repent about this,” he continued. “All I got to do is step over top of it and keep on going on. I’m not in trouble. I’m talking about the power of the blood. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. I have used it, and I will use it again. But I ain’t gotta use it for that.”

“Whenever I need it, it’s available to me, and it’s available to you. And you can have it when you need it, but you don’t have to plead the blood if you didn’t do the crime,” Jake said, labeling the rumors about him “young folks’ gossip.”

He then used his age as his defense for not being able being able attend such a party and followed up his comment by saying, “That’s a stupid rumor…sometimes, you don’t need a statement from me. Sometimes what you need is common sense.”

Other notable names mentioned in Jones’ lawsuit include Cuba Gooding Jr., Prince Harry, and Yung Miami.

On Monday (Feb. 25), some of Combs’ properties were raided by the Department of Homeland Security as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation. Later that day, Combs was cleared to fly to Antigua and Barbuda after being questioned by federal agents at a Miami airport.

Combs’ attorney called the raid a “gross overuse of military-level force” and insisted on Combs innocence.
