Pastor Blair, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, received the Purple Heart after being wounded in battle in Iraq. He serves as senior pastor of Langston Baptist Church, a congregation that belongs to the Southern Baptist Convention. He and his wife, Tristan, have three children.
