Locke added, “I want the films to be something that’s convicting to pastors…If in the last days God promised to pour out His Spirit, then why aren’t we experiencing that?”
“I want them to have to ask that question when they leave the theater,” Locke said.
“What we’re contending for in this generation is the true Jesus, and I think that’s really what’s at stake,” Signorelli said. “It’s like we have every denomination has cornered the market on who Jesus is. You have the New Age Jesus, hippie Jesus, and now you even have political Jesus that’s used for personal gain.”
“What we are fighting for in ‘Miracles at the Movies’ is that are we introducing people to the true Jesus or some counterfeit version of it,” Signorelli said.
