Steven Furtick’s Son Follows Up Controversial Rap Album With One Filled With Faith and Worship Themes

On “Good Good,” Elijah sings, “I’ve been trying to tell the world that you’re good, good…I can finally see, I let the light in.” And on the closing track, “My Life Is in Your Hands,” Elijah proclaims that with Jesus, “I know that I can stand.”

Several songs on “Truly Follow Jesus Christ” are mellow, with more of a praise and worship vibe and less of a rap feel.

Elijah, the oldest of Steven and Holly Furtick’s three children, often appears on Elevation Church’s YTH Nation podcast. In 2023, he earned an associate degree from Liberty University Online Academy.
