“It does take a toll on our hearts in a lot of ways,” Tabish continued. “But to get to do it with wonderful people that take care of each other is everything. It’s wonderful.”
On Wednesday, July 31, “The Chosen” officially wrapped filming on Season 5. Roumie shared that “moments of mirth and humor” have helped to carry him through the challenges of the role. He compared his experience to being “at [a] funeral, when reminiscing about the departed, and someone recalls a story about them where the only fitting response is to double over into a fit of laughter.”

The actor’s post showed him holding a Tupperware with a banana inside it. Written on the outside of the container were the words, “Thy Holy Banana.”
“That’s what this image represents for me,” said Roumie. “In the midst of the culmination of this titanic narrative and the rivers of emotional fragility needed to carry it out, I was presented with this ‘Breakfast Gift’ the other day by our fantastic chefs on set.”
“These guys never fail to brighten my day, not only with the superb quality of their food, but with their work ethic, countenance and sense of humor,” he concluded. “This one got me good. All I see is Monty Python. Bless you guys.”
