Gibson added, “God said, ‘No, I’m God. I got my hands on you, son. All you got to do is wake up and decide to not do nothing stupid.’”
The actor said he knows what it’s like when people feel “messed up and broken and they decide they don’t want to live no more.” He praises God every day that suicide has “never been a choice” for him.
“If you’re struggling with that,” Gibson told listeners, “I just want you to invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your most vulnerable spaces and places and watch and see what only God can do.”
