“We gathered to exalt Jesus as Lord and pray for one another as we lead our churches to be salt and light,” Graham told ChurchLeaders. “We pray that God will enable us to preserve our freedoms, protect our families, persevere in our faith, and proclaim the gospel.” Graham said, “That mission was accomplished.”

NFAB member Malachi O’Brien shared with ChurchLeaders that he “was not only encouraged by Trump’s openness to speak about his faith but was mostly encouraged witnessing the gathering of many Christian faith leaders…uniting to worship Jesus in song and anointed prayer for revival in our nation.”

Worship leader Sean Feucht, who attended the event, shared his reflections with ChurchLeaders, saying,

Having spent multiple times with President Trump over the last several years, including getting the privilege to pray over him in the White House, it was very encouraging to hear him reassure faith leaders that he will continue to uphold religious liberties for all Americans and will intervene in matters where the federal government has been weaponized against people of faith.

Feucht said that he was encouraged to hear that Trump’s “commitment to people of faith and to protect religious liberties is still strong.”

Later that night, Driscoll posted a recap video, sharing his thoughts on the event and whether he believes that Trump is a real Christian.

“Is Donald Trump saved?” Driscoll rhetorically asked. “I don’t know. If he [is], he doesn’t know the evangelical lingo. Some close to him say he [is]. I don’t know. Here’s what I do know. That’s who I’m voting for, and that’s who I would encourage you to vote for.”

“And while you vote for him, pray for him. That if he knows Jesus, he gets discipled and grows in his faith,” Driscoll added. “He is surrounded with some wonderful believers, and I met them this week—some are old, dear friends, and they’ve been faithful for a very long time. And if he doesn’t know Jesus, that he would come to know Jesus.”
