Derwin Gray, pastor of Transformation Church in Indian Land, South Carolina, said, “I’m going to pray for our leaders. By the Holy Spirit’s power: 1. Live the gospel. 2. Share the gospel with non-Christians. 3. Love my neighbor as I love myself. Let’s be about the Father’s Business.”

In an op-ed published by WORLD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Albert Mohler wrote, “As Christians, our task is now to pray for President-elect Trump and for our nation. We know that much before we know anything else.”

“The American electoral system worked and produced a clear winner. Wow…what a night. History was made right before our eyes,” Mohler said. “Americans alive today will remember this election night for the remainder of their days. It was a night for the ages.”

Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Dallas and a longtime Trump supporter, posted, “Congratulations to our 47th President @realDonaldTrump! Millions of Christians are praying for you!”

Tom Ascol, president of Founders Ministries and senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida, said, “Stunning defeat for ‘Evangelicals for Biden.’ Great mercy from our sovereign Lord.”

“God’s people should be humbled, grateful, and resolved to declared God’s law and gospel more energetically and with greater love than ever before as we work for reformation and pray for revival,” Ascol added.

Evangelicals for Harris supporter and Texas Pastor Dwight McKissic wrote, “All things work together for good to those who love the Lord, and are called according to his purpose. I’m believing the outcome of this election will without a doubt work together for good all who love the Lord.”

“As in the case of Joseph, whoever exercised voting decisions motivated by evil, I rejoice that God can and will turn it around for the good of them that loves the Lord,” McKissic added. “So I shout tonight, Hallelujah!, as long as I got King Jesus, I’ll be alright, and so will you.”

Michael L. Brown, author and radio host of “The Line of Fire,” posted, “How revealing that when Trump came to the platform to deliver his victory speech, the crowd began to chant ‘USA, USA’ rather than Trump’s name. To his supporters, this is about their country.”

Evangelist Greg Stier encouraged his followers, “Be humble. Love others. Build bridges. Speak truth. Work hard. Pray daily. Live holy. Share Jesus and, one last thing…Don’t gloat.”
