Someone else said, “There are no words. I’m appalled.”

The retailer listened to customers’ complaints. “We are aware that a product line featured on our marketplace has raised some questions,” Debenhams said. “In line with our policies, we are reviewing the products and have temporarily paused them while we investigate.”

After further review, the retailer said, “We have now removed the highlighted products, our apologies…the intention was not to offend or insult anyone.”

Creator of ‘A Gay in a Manger’ Merchandise Pulls Other Christian-Themed Items

Grindstore, the creator of “a gay in a manger” merchandise, sold its creations across Amazon and other retailers.

Grindstore, Debenhams, and international seller Pertemba Global have pulled multiple items with a questionable Christian theme.

Among the other items pulled were greeting cards with the phrase, “ah-men,” shirts with the phrase “bad religion,” and merchandise depicting Jesus riding a motorcycle.

Doolan and other Christians celebrated when the offensive products were removed. “RESULT! @grindstore have removed all of their Jesus related products from their store,” the pastor posted. “Well done saints, we are more unified than ever before.”

One person commented, “As a practising Catholic the attack on Christianity has to stop.”
